Holiday Inn Resort Samui Bophut Beach, An Ihg Hotel

Fantastic hotel experience! My family and I spent 10 wonderful days here. Great staff especially Katie( I believe that was her name) at the concierge desk who was a delight, always helpful and always with a smile. The staff at the pool, breakfast and everyone at the hotel made our stay memorable. The food was great and reasonably priced for a hotel, very clean and near the strip where you can find everything you need. I can’t wait to return!!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn Resort on Koh Samui. The hotel is located directly on the beach in Bophut. Some reviews say that the hotel is separated from the beach by a road. This is not quite true. Although there is a road, it is more of a pedestrian zone with only a small amount of delivery and local traffic. This street is lined with restaurants, massage parlors and stores. If you turn into the street parallel to the hotel after a few minutes' walk, you will come to the famous Fisherman Village Night Market (as the area around the hotel is also known). The market is a highlight on Samui and is open on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The hotel has its own small beach across the road, which is slightly higher than the actual beach. A staircase leads to the actual beach, which is quite beautiful and wide. It is lively but not overcrowded and invites you to take a walk on the beach. Unfortunately, the sand is often quite coarse, so bathing shoes would be advisable. The hotel itself is geared towards families, which is also reflected in the number of families with small children. During our visit, however, this was within reasonable limits. There is a large pool, a children's pool with lots of water play equipment, a playground, an indoor kids' club and activities for the children. There is also a special activity every other evening. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The gym was spacious and equipped with all the necessary equipment, everything was new and modern. All in all, a recommendation, especially for families with children. But also for couples who don't mind that this hotel is definitely geared towards the needs of young families. The location is very good, there are many restaurants, supermarkets and stores around the hotel.

Been traveling around Thailand for the last 3 weeks and this was luxury!! The moment we walked into the lobby we were greeted with smiles and some lemon pea flower tea, signed in and had an escort to our room. Once we opened the door our jaws dropped!! So spacious, clean and has everything you need and more. The pool was clean and cold! Which was great on those hot days. My partner and I were sick (flu) and ended up staying on the room most days. But, it wasn’t bad because the room was so nice! Loved the shower too! Location is perfect!! Fisherman’s village is in your backyard and the market! I highly recommend staying in this hotel. It’s been a treat!
